ADELAIDE’S most authentic artisan café has opened.
Located on Goodwood Road’s emerging bohemian strip opposite the Capri Theatre, the Parisian inspired L’Atelier Gourmand Bistro brings to life French recipes with a twist of South Australian individuality.
Local sculptor and owner Randall Reissig teamed up with French chef Guillaume Galvez to create the charm of an aging traditional coffee house.
The tiled floor and crumbling walls will melt the hearts of its visitors, with Veneziano coffee on hand to revitalise and a stylish selection of wines to inspire.
Guillaume revisited his native country’s recipes to create an evolving menu that draws almost entirely from fresh SA produce.
“Guillaume’s taken the traditional and changed it to his own style, using only the highest quality ingredients,” Randall said.
“This is the best of France with a twist of local quality.”
